P A R T Y T I M E w/ Paperless Post

Auburn Football is only 12 days away! With the game being held at the Georgia Dome, I won't have to travel far to see my Tigers play. As I started to think about the food in my tailgate line-up, I remembered an engagement party I threw a few months ago and the cute invites I found on Paperless Post. A lot of the online invitations are free, with a cool dashboard to see all of your invitees responses. If you are throwing a football party in 12 days, or anytime this season, check out these cute football themed invites to snazz up your Tiger party. War Eagle!

Let Me Upgrade Ya

Football Season 2015 is 59 days away (for Auburn, at least)! With a new season, I have stumbled upon some nifty gadgets to add to your tailgating set-up this year!

The 'Coolest' Cooler

This cooler will be available for purchase in August 2015. After a successful Kickstarter campaign, the cooler that has it all has come into being! Not only does it have built-in features like a blender, bluetooth speakers, USB charger, bottle opener, wine opener, and rechargeable battery; it comes in AU colors too! Although a cheap price tag isn't one of the features, this cooler definitely aims to fulfill all of your tailgate needs! See more at: http://www.coolest.com/

 Yeti Rambler Coaster

The makers of the Yeti cooler have taken their cooler technology to the world of koozies. Made of stainless steel and boasting of No-Sweat technology, this koozie will keep your drink cool through several rounds of "Bodda Getta!"

Solar Powered Cellphone Charger

There have been many wonderful Gamedays on the Plains through making phone calls, searching for signal, and posting on social media; I manage to drain my entire cell phone battery. If you do not have a generator at your tailgate, charging your phone can become a real problem. "How will I take a picture of the eagle flying?!" Check out this new solar powered cellphone charger (works with iPhones and other USB phones). Available on Amazon: Solar Powered Cellphone Charger

      iGrill Meat Thermometer

Grilling out at your tailgate and feel like you have to constantly check on the burgers? With the iGrill you can now monitor your meat's temperature with a smart bluetooth thermometer that will let you know when the desired temperature is reached!

Outdoor Slim-Fold Cook Station

Need some more space to place all your nibbles and snack supplies? Unlike big bulky tables that can take up a lot of space in a car, this slim station has plenty of room and folds up nicely! For plenty of Gameday snack ideas to fill up these shelves, check out some of my favorite Gameday Recipes!

Cheers to you and your tailgate!

What's Orange and Blue and 1-5?

Tailgating Find

On my weekly trip to Target, I got sucked into the $1 section (per usual). With the dollar price tag, I usually end up buying something that I really don't need or have use for, but am tempted by the 'bargain.' (Dave Ramsey would scold me). Today I found this little blue carrier. With four compartments and a little handle, I immediately saw a utensil and straw (straws not shown) holder for a tailgate! Added some orange utensils and football ribbon I already had, and "poof!" an Auburn tailgate essential was created.

Almost 2 weeks until tailgate time!

Gameday Garb Jcrew Style

Any of my friends will tell you that I have a slight addiction (besides Auburn football) to Jcrew. Not only do they provide wonderful attire for your every day needs, they offer items PERFECT for your Auburn Game Day Garb. While there are lots of other orange and navy options, check out some of the few I picked out for Auburn ladies and gents for the 2012 season!

(All items shown are currently available online for the Fall at www.jcrew.com)

Yes, that's right, Auburn has started a social rewards program called "Auburn Ignited." Instead of entering codes off of 12 packs of Coke, like Coke Rewards, you will 'earn' points for any social postings on Twitter or Facebook that pertain to Auburn. Gameday Garb

With less than three weeks until kickoff, tailgate menus, outfits, and game day logistics are being planned. Last year, I posted about Gameday Garb for AU Plainsmen (http://allthingsauburn.blogspot.com/2011/10/au-gentlemans-gameday-garb.html). Recently I have 'StumbledUpon' this site Twelve Saturdays. With twelve Saturdays of cheering, this site provides dresses, shirts, and accessories to make sure you look your best for each and every game day!

Tailgate Treats for Tigers with no Time!

If you are running low on time before heading to a tailgate, don't just show up empty handed! Be a good guest and whip up one of these simple recipes. You will still make it to the tailgate in plenty of time to "Bodegetta" and enjoy a few Tiger Tonics!

Texas Caviar

1 can of black beans

1 can of kidney beans

1 can of garbonzo beans

1 can of corn
1 small red onion chopped
1 green pepper chopped
1 8oz bottle of italian dressing
Cilantro chopped (to garnish)

Drain all cans and place into a large bowl. Dice onion and pepper and mix into bowl. Add bottle of italian dressing. Garnish with cilantro (if desired). Serve with tortilla chips or scoops!

Onion Dip

1 envelope Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Onion Soup Mix

1 container (16 oz.) sour cream

The easiest recipe of all time- mix  soup mix with sour cream and serve. Serve with crackers or chips

Rolo Pretzel Bites

1 Bag Pretzel Squares

Rolo Candies

Pecan Halves

Place one Rolo on top of Pretzel Squares. Bake in the oven at 250*F for 4-5 minutes (no longer). Place a pecan half on top of the Rolo and press down a bit. Place the entire baking sheet in the freezer for about 5-7 minutes to allow the Rolo to cool. Remove from freezer and enjoy! Or place in a container to enjoy later.

Jalapeno Bacon Crescent Rolls

1 8oz container plain Cream Cheese

Chopped Jalapeño

Crumbled Cook Bacon

1 can Crescent Diller Rolls

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut 8  crescent roll triangles in half to create 16 triangles. Spread cream cheese, top with chopped jalapeno and crumbled bacon on each triangle. Fold one point over the filling, and two other points over original point. Place on un-greased cookie sheet and back 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

AU 2012 Intro Video

For those of you who don't twitter (or follow: @FootballAU), a question was recently asked by the AU football department:

"What song should we use for the pregame intro video this fall? Send us your ideas and if we use your song you might win a VIP experience. " - @FootballAU

After some stellar pre-game videos of years past, what song do you think they should use this year?

If you are anything like me, watching these videos will get you extremely excited! 36 Days!
