After covering the 2002 Auburn vs. Syracuse football game, Bud Poliquin, a columnist for the Syracuse Post-Standard newspaper observed: "When you talk about the epitome of what the college football experience is all about ... that's it. Auburn is the epitome. You couldn't possibly be unaware of the spectacle, even if you were trying to be unaware. [...] I have descended into college football's Grand Canyon. I have stood in its Alps. I have gazed at its ocean sunset. I have attended a game at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Alabama, and I've been changed forever."
Within Jordan-Hare Stadium, Auburn men and women contribute to that epic atmosphere with their school spirit, sportsmanship, and most of all, Gameday Garb. This fall, the oldest clothier in the United States, Brooks Brothers, has introduced a collegiate line of apparel. Whether you are an alum headed to a corporate tailgate, or a fratty sitting on the front row of the student section; these crisp non-iron Auburn button-ups, and Tiger ties should reside in every Auburn gent's closet. No jort-wearing chap enters JHS, unless the Gators have come to visit. So boys, throw on your chinos, button-ups, bowties, and blazers, and cheers to the best dressed gentlemen in all of college football!
