Pat Dye

On my list of Auburn favorites, Pat Dye makes the top 10. When asked in his interview to be head coach at Auburn, "How long will it take you to beat Alabama?" Dye simply replied, "Sixty minutes." A great Auburn coach and athletic director, Pat Dye has done many great things for our University.

Even now, Dye continues to help out young Tigers with the annual Blue Jean Ball Fundraiser at his own hunting lodge in Notasulga. Since 2001, this Fundraiser has provided more than 350 scholarships to AU nursing school students.
