Tailgate Treats for Tigers with no Time!

If you are running low on time before heading to a tailgate, don't just show up empty handed! Be a good guest and whip up one of these simple recipes. You will still make it to the tailgate in plenty of time to "Bodegetta" and enjoy a few Tiger Tonics!


Texas Caviar 

1 can of black beans
1 can of kidney beans
1 can of garbonzo beans
1 can of corn
1 small red onion chopped
1 green pepper chopped
1 8oz bottle of italian dressing
Cilantro chopped (to garnish)


Drain all cans and place into a large bowl. Dice onion and pepper and mix into bowl. Add bottle of italian dressing. Garnish with cilantro (if desired). Serve with tortilla chips or scoops! 





Onion Dip
envelope Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Onion Soup Mix
container (16 oz.) sour cream

The easiest recipe of all time- mix  soup mix with sour cream and serve. Serve with crackers or chips






Rolo Pretzel Bites
1 Bag Pretzel Squares
Rolo Candies
Pecan Halves

Place one Rolo on top of Pretzel Squares. Bake in the oven at 250*F for 4-5 minutes (no longer). Place a pecan half on top of the Rolo and press down a bit. Place the entire baking sheet in the freezer for about 5-7 minutes to allow the Rolo to cool. Remove from freezer and enjoy! Or place in a container to enjoy later. 





Jalapeno Bacon Crescent Rolls
                                                                                                                           
1 8oz container plain Cream Cheese
Chopped JalapeƱo
Crumbled Cook Bacon
1 can Crescent Diller Rolls

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut 8  crescent roll triangles in half to create 16 triangles. Spread cream cheese, top with chopped jalapeno and crumbled bacon on each triangle. Fold one point over the filling, and two other points over original point. Place on un-greased cookie sheet and back 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
